I was so frustrated this morning when I got up and looked outside to and saw a lovely foot of fluffy snow on the ground.  I was thinking, not only do I have to dig myself out and warm up my car, but I have to be mindful that the temperature was going to drop mid-afternoon and make for a very frigid commute on the way home.

So what’s a fashionista to do?

Well, I did what any self respecting fashion addict would, I brought out the big guns…my rubber-soled stiletto platform boots! (See a few pairs I love here: L.A.M.B. Pier in Black and DKNY Sylvana Lace Up Bootie in Black)

Ok, I didn’t just bring out the fabu winter boots, but also the following necessary attire:

• Gloves, UGG Fashion Shearling Shorty in Black

Once dressed, I went outside to do car duty and clear my car of all the snow that had settled on it while it had snowed over night.  After the car was cleared of snow and it was allowed to run for about 5 minutes, it warmed up enough for me leave my parking lot and start my day.  After returning home after meeting with business clients all day, I was happy I chose the outfit I did.  I was comfortable, warm and effortlessly chic all day long.

I hate to admit it, I kind of hope it is snow again tomorrow!
